Kulgam Police raids houses of banned Jamaat-e-Islami members across district

Kulgam, June 23: Kulgam Police carried out extensive raids at multiple locations across the district in a major crackdown against the banned organization Jamaat-e-Islami. The targeted searches were conducted at the residential houses and premises of various Jamaat-e-Islami members and their close associates as part of an ongoing operations to dismantle the regional terror ecosystem and its financial and logistical support structures.

During the coordinated operations, police teams recovered incriminating materials and various digital devices from the searched locations. Additionally, several members of the banned outfit were questioned by investigating officers and legally bound down. Kulgam Police reiterated its firm resolve to take strict action against all elements associated with terrorism and maintained its commitment toward ensuring long-term peace, stability, and public order across the district.
