Mastering Mindfulness: 500+ Police Trainees Embrace Wellness at PTTI Vijaypur’s Mega International Yoga Day Event

Vijaypur — June 21, 2026: In a powerful demonstration of health and discipline, the Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur marked the eve of International Yoga Day by hosting a massive, high-energy yoga session at its campus. Organized in close collaboration with Aarogya Bharti Samba, the event drew enthusiastic participation from the institute’s staff and more than 500 police trainees, all uniting to celebrate the ancient practice of holistic wellness.

The mega event commenced with an insightful welcome address by Chander Mohan, who shed light on the profound impact of yoga on physical longevity and mental clarity, with a specific focus on its role in promoting healthy ageing. He urged the attendees to look beyond the day’s event and seamlessly integrate yoga into their daily lives for sustained long-term benefits.

Inaugurating the session, Ranjit Singh Sambyal, IPS, Principal of PTTI Vijaypur, delivered an inspiring address highlighting yoga as an essential tool for modern life. He emphasized that regular yoga practice is not just about physical fitness, but is a proven catalyst for mental wellness, overall well-being, and heightened resilience. For law enforcement personnel and trainees, Sambyal noted, the discipline of yoga is invaluable for boosting daily productivity and managing high-stress environments.

Following the opening remarks, the event transitioned into a dynamic, hands-on practical session. Expert instructors from Aarogya Bharti—including Chander Mohan, Anil Kumar, Rohit Sharma, Arti Sharma, Tarsem, and Manav—led the massive crowd through the official Common Yoga Protocol. Trainees and staff members eagerly immersed themselves in a series of traditional yoga postures (asanas) and deep breathing techniques (pranayama). The campus radiated vibrant energy as participants demonstrated exceptional commitment, wrapping up the session with a renewed focus on health, mindfulness, and peak physical conditioning.
