Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited Announces Scheduled Power Shutdown Across Multiple Districts in Jammu Division

JAMMU, June 20, 2026 :- The Chief Engineer of Distribution at Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited has informed the public that the power supply to several areas will face scheduled outages over the coming days due to maintenance work.

On June 21, electricity supply to Jai Road, Dhareja, Manthalla, the Shrine of Vasuki Nag, and adjoining areas will remain affected from 9 am to 4 pm. Similarly, the power supply to Premanagar, Thathri, Dhara, Changa, Gandoh, Bhatyas, and surrounding localities will be temporarily suspended on June 21 from 7 am to 4 pm.

Furthermore, residents in Rajgarh, Chanderkote, Peerah, and nearby areas will experience a power shutdown on June 21 between 9 am and 3 pm, while the Government Medical College Kathua will see an interruption from 7 am to 11 am on the same day.The power distribution corporation has also planned outages for subsequent days to ensure necessary infrastructure upgrades. On June 22, the power supply to Patnitop, Nathatop, Doordarshan, Airforce, Gandola, and adjoining areas will remain affected from 9 am to 3 pm.

Additionally, a shutdown is scheduled on June 22 from 7 am to 11 am for Barnoti, Rajbagh, Nanan, Budhi, Channi, Marheen, Paharpur, Chandwan, Hariachak, and surrounding areas, including critical industrial setups like TK Paper Mill, Superior Polymer, and Kargil Steel Industry. Finally, the electricity supply to Rajpura, Lalachack, Mawa, Sanoora, Badyal, Sujana, Badyal BSF, and adjoining locations will remain affected on June 22 from 7 am to 12 noon.
