Assam Rifles conducts free medical camps and emergency aid initiatives in remote Nagaland
KOHIMA, June 17, 2026 — Assam Rifles personnel operating under the Spear Corps have launched a series of medical and civic welfare initiatives to assist communities living in the remote frontier regions of Nagaland.
In Tening, the security forces responded to an emergency by providing immediate first aid and critical care to a local resident who suffered burn injuries while working.
Alongside the emergency response, the forces organized a free medical and dental camp in Dan Village, where 97 residents received expert health consultations, dental examinations, and essential medicines.
