KC Venugopal announces Congress nationwide campaign against paper leaks and unemployment​

NEW DELHI, June 13, 2026 :- ​The Indian National Congress General Secretary K C Venugopal announced the launch of the first phase of a nationwide campaign focusing on examination irregularities, paper leaks, unemployment, and issues affecting India’s youth, as detailed in an official press release shared Organized under the guidance of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and led by Rahul Gandhi, the initiative features a series of massive student conventions scheduled to begin in Kota on June 17, followed by events in Allahabad on July 10, Patna on July 11, and Delhi on July 14.

These conventions aim to unite students, aspirants, youth organizations, and educators beyond political affiliations to address repeated examination scandals, rising education costs, and the need for a transparent recruitment system.

According to the press statement the party plans a large-scale mobilization drive leveraging physical and digital outreach across coaching centers, universities, schools, and social media platforms through various wings, including the National Students’ Union of India and Youth Congress.

The movement intends to bring demands voiced by Rahul Gandhi directly to the public, advocating for the decentralization of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, the complete abolition of examination fees, strict legal action against paper leak rackets, and accountability at the highest government levels, including the resignation of the Union Education Minister.

Furthermore, the Congress Party intends to demand a comprehensive parliamentary discussion and legislative measures to defend merit and secure equal opportunities for the country’s youth.
