NONEY, June 9, 2026 :- Assam Rifles personnel swiftly intervened to facilitate the emergency evacuation of an injured soldier following a road accident in Khoupum Bazaar, located in the Noney district of Manipur.

The victim, identified as Sepoy Lungleithui Gangmai of the 15 Assam Regiment, sustained injuries on June 8, 2026, while visiting his home region on leave.Upon receiving information about the incident, the Assam Rifles promptly responded to the emergency and ensured the safe, timely transfer of the soldier to a higher medical facility for specialized treatment.
