Indian Army conducts joint training exercise with ITBP and SSB to boost security readiness

TEZPUR, June 7, 2026 — The Ball of Fire Division, operating under the aegis of the Gajraj Corps, successfully conducted a joint training program with the Indo-Tibetan Border Police and the Sashastra Seema Bal.

The collaborative initiative was designed to strengthen interoperability, operational synergy, and overall combat readiness among the security forces.

The specialized training focused on the deployment of new generation equipment and advanced mine warfare techniques, ensuring that the personnel are equipped with modern tactical skills.

The training program culminated in Exercise Jaal, which provided a realistic operational environment for the participating forces. This final exercise enhanced the tactical proficiency, mine-handling capabilities, and seamless field coordination between the Indian Army, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, and Sashastra Seema Bal.

By facilitating the exchange of best operational practices, the joint initiative reinforced the shared commitment of all participating forces to maintain a unified and effective response against emerging security challenges in the region.
