CRPF director general reviews operational readiness and meets troops in Manipur

BISHNUPUR, June 04, 2026:The Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force, G. P. Singh, visited the D/8 company location at Gelmol in Bishnupur on the first day of his three-day tour to Manipur.

During the visit, the director general reviewed the existing infrastructure and met with various regional stakeholders to assess the current security situation. He also held a vital interactive session with the deployed troops to emphasize personnel welfare and operational readiness in the area.

During the interaction, the director general appreciated the quick action taken by the troops during a recent camp attack. He assured the personnel that all bonafide steps taken by them in the line of duty would receive full protection and institutional support.

The official visit concluded with a shared high tea, serving as a morale booster for the personnel stationed at the remote camp.
