Indian Army conducts career guidance and Agnipath awareness program in Khatiwas

KHATIWAS, June 04, 2026:The Army Recruitment Office Charkhi Dadri organized an educational outreach program at Senior Secondary Sanskaram School to guide over 550 students on career avenues within the armed forces. Colonel Virendra Mohan Singh of the 8 Haryana NCC Battalion opened the event, which aimed to motivate young students to consider a career in national service.

Major Mazharul Arfin Md later addressed the gathering, delivering a detailed lecture focused on the diverse opportunities available through the Agnipath Scheme and standard military entry streams.The session covered essential recruitment topics, including eligibility criteria, selection procedures, the advantages of NCC certification, and specific officer entry paths, with a particular focus on options for female candidates in the Indian Army.

The presentation also highlighted the medical and physical fitness benchmarks required for enrollment, stressing the importance of maintaining good personal health and hygiene. Additionally, students were advised to rely only on official channels for recruitment updates to protect themselves against fraudulent agents and misinformation.
