Indian Army Dao Division commander reviews infrastructure and border security in Arunachal Pradesh

ITANAGAR, May 31, 2026 — The General Officer Commanding of the Dao Division visited forward areas in Arunachal Pradesh to reinforce the shared commitment of various national agencies toward regional development and border security.

The visit emphasized the collective efforts of the Indian Army, Border Roads Organisation, National Hydroelectric Power Corporation, and the Indo-Tibetan Border Police in transforming the frontier region.During the visit, strategic discussions focused heavily on advancing power infrastructure to catalyze economic growth and local development in the remote border zones.
