Director General Sanjay Singhal reviews border security preparedness at forward posts

DIDIHAT, May 30, 2026 — Director General of Sashastra Seema Bal Sanjay Singhal visited the Gothi Border Outpost of the 11th Battalion SSB along with the forward posts of Kutti and Jolingkong belonging to the 36th Battalion of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police.

The high-level visit focused on assessing security measures and operational readiness along critical border zones.During the assessment, the Director General reviewed overall operational preparedness and interacted directly with the deployed troops, encouraging them to maintain high discipline, morale, and physical fitness.

He commended the personnel for their exemplary service and unwavering dedication to securing the borders of the nation under highly challenging geographic and environmental conditions.

Additionally, he emphasized that strong inter-force coordination between different security agencies remains vital for effective border management and robust national security.
