Poonch 01 Sept :- In a swift and decisive operation, the White Knight Corps of Indian Army successfully foiled an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Balakot Sector of Poonch, in the early hours of the morning.
At approximately 0530 hours today, alert troops detected suspicious movement near the LoC and immediately engaged the potential infiltrators with targeted fire, forcing them to retreat and effectively neutralizing the threat.
Following the incident, own troops have been strategically repositioned and re-oriented to establish a foolproof domination of the area, utilizing all available surveillance and combat resources. A state of high alert is being maintained across the sector to prevent any further such attempts.
