Indian Army commemorates first anniversary of Operation Sindoor with youth outreach

AGARTALA, May 10, 2026The Red Shield Division and Spearhead Division, operating under the Spear Corps, marked the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor by conducting a series of extensive youth outreach programs across the Northeast.

These events were held at prominent educational institutions, including Mariani College in Assam, Maharaja Bir Bikram College and the Government College of Arts and Craft in Agartala, Tripura, and the Senior Secondary School in Jonai, Arunachal Pradesh.

The initiative aimed to connect with the younger generation and honor the legacy of the operation through education and engagement.

During the programs, military personnel conducted interactive sessions with students, focusing on the core values of patriotism, leadership, and the importance of national security.

These discussions provided students with a deeper understanding of the challenges and responsibilities involved in defending the nation’s borders.
