Air Marshal B Manikantan Reviews Operational Readiness at Gwalior Air Force Station

GWALIOR, April 26, 2026:-Air Marshal B Manikantan, the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Air Command, conducted a comprehensive visit to the Air Force Station Gwalior from April 23 to April 24, 2026.

The primary objective of the two-day visit was to evaluate the operational preparedness of the airbase and its various combat elements. He was accompanied by Dr. Nirmala T Manikantan, President of the Air Force Families Welfare Association (Regional), who engaged with the welfare activities at the station.

During the visit, the Air Marshal commended the air warriors for their high level of professionalism and their recent achievements across multiple operational fields. He motivated the personnel to maintain peak levels of readiness to face future challenges effectively.

His address highlighted significant new initiatives undertaken by the Indian Air Force aimed at boosting overall combat potential and streamlining existing processes to ensure maximum efficiency.

In his interactions with the station personnel, Air Marshal Manikantan emphasized the importance of staying acutely aware of the evolving security environment in the region.
