Border Road Organization Conducts Medical Health Camp for Personnel and Villagers in Punguk
PUNGUK, April 23, 2026:-Project HIMANK of the Border Roads Organization (BRO) successfully organized a comprehensive medical health camp in Punguk, extending essential healthcare services to both BRO personnel, including Casual Paid Labourers (CPLs), and local residents.
The initiative focused on proactive health management through screenings for hypertension and other common lifestyle diseases.
Beyond immediate clinical care, the camp featured dedicated awareness sessions aimed at educating the community on the long-term health hazards associated with alcohol and tobacco consumption.
In addition to diagnostics and health education, the medical team provided essential treatments and medications to those in need. This outreach program highlights the organization’s broader mission to support the well-being of its workforce and the remote communities where it operates.
By addressing lifestyle-related health risks and providing accessible medical support, Project HIMANK reaffirmed the BRO’s commitment to fostering healthier communities in addition to its primary role of infrastructure development in border regions.
