Udhampur 23 August :-Police team of Police Station Rehambal while performing traffic checking duty, stopped one motorcycle bearing registration number JK14A-7140 coming from Jib towards Garhi for checking.
On questioning rider disclosed his identity as Ganesh Dutt S/o Sansar Chand R/o Barolla, Udhampur. During his personal search, police team recovered 770 Alprazolam tablets from his possession.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 132/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Rehambal and further investigation has been set into motion.
