KATHUA, January 06, 2026: GDC Kathua XI delivered a dominant all-round performance today to outclass PWD XI by 29 runs in the ongoing Kathua Admin Cup cricket tournament.

Despite persistent efforts from PWD XI bowlers Arun, Surinder, and Mukesh, who took wickets at regular intervals, GDC Kathua maintained enough momentum to post a challenging total. The run chase proved difficult for PWD XI as they struggled to build partnerships against GDC Kathua’s organized bowling attack.
Although Amit, Surinder, and Pankaj Singh made modest contributions to steady the middle order, the team was eventually bundled out for 76 runs. The clinical bowling performance ensured that PWD XI never gained the necessary momentum to threaten the target.
For his match-winning innings, Goutam Singh was named Man of the Match, further solidifying GDC Kathua’s position as a formidable contender in the tournament.
