NEW DELHI, MARCH 08: Escalating tensions and the volatile situation in West Asia have severely impacted international aviation, leading to the cancellation of 279 scheduled flights by Indian domestic carriers today. While 49 flight operations were originally slated to connect West Asia to India on March 8, the broader regional instability has forced airlines to scrap a significant portion of their daily schedules to ensure passenger safety and operational security.

This sudden disruption has left thousands of travelers facing delays and rerouting across several key international sectors, highlighting the immediate impact of the geopolitical crisis on India’s commercial aviation industry.In response to the widespread cancellations, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has advised all affected passengers to maintain a close watch on the latest flight updates and stay alert to direct communications from their respective airlines.
