LUCKNOW, February 07, 2026 — In a significant move to strengthen the bond between the state administration and the Armed Forces, Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Shashi Prakash Goyal and Director General of Police (DGP) Rajeev Krishna visited the Smritika War Memorial and Headquarters Surya Command.
During the visit, the senior officials interacted with Lieutenant General Navin Sachdeva, Chief of Staff, HQ Central Command, and other high-ranking officers to emphasize a shared commitment to national security and regional coordination.
A key highlight of the discussions at the war memorial was the progress of a forthcoming joint Light and Sound Show, a project designed to honor the legacy of India’s bravehearts and enhance public engagement.
