Jammu 28 September :- Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh congratulated Sheetal Devi, a girl from the soil of Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir, for bringing yet another moment of pride to India by winning the gold medal at the Para World Archery Championship.
At the tender age of 17, Sheetal Devi registered an historic victory by being declared World Champion in the women’s compound individual open competition by downing the world No.1 archer in a heart-stopping 146-143 win in Gwangju, South Korea.
This is a monumental feat that contributes to her mounting legend as a para-archer, revealing her mental resilience, calmness, and technical excellence in front of the world audience.
