Udhampur, 11 October :- In a continued crackdown on drug peddlers, Udhampur Police has attached movable and immovable properties worth approximately ₹ 2 Crore belonging to notorious drug smuggler, Rafaqat S/O Mohd Shafi R/O Devika, Udhampur and his family members.
The property has been attached under the Section 68-F of the NDPS Act.The attached assets include 03 residential houses, 02 shops, 02 Bullet motorcycles and 02 cars.
The properties were identified as illegally acquired during the course of investigation carried out by DySP Hqrs. Udhampur Prehlad Sharma, SHO Udhampur Insp Purab Singh and IC PP Battal Ballian PSI Ravinder.
Udhampur Police reiterates its firm commitment to a zero-tolerance policy against drugs and will continue to take stern action against those involved in the drug menace in the district.
