Udhampur, 20th August:-Continuing its sustained drive against drug trafficking, Udhampur Police today attached movable property worth approximately ₹6 lakhs belonging to a drug peddler.
A car bearing registration number JK15C-2964, owned by Mohd. Younis Malla S/o Mohd. Yaqoob Malla R/o Shilvat, Sumbal, Bandipora has been attached under Section 68(F) of the NDPS Act in case FIR No.117/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act of Police Station Rehambal.
The accused is presently lodged in District Jail Udhampur in connection with the above-mentioned case.
During investigation, a detailed inquiry was conducted. Based on the criminal record & financial investigation, it was established that the said vehicle had been acquired through illegally earned money. Accordingly, the property has been attached under the relevant provisions of law.
