Udhampur DC Reviews FSTP Progress and Land Record Digitization to Boost District Infrastructure

UDHAMPUR, JANUARY 19: Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai chaired a comprehensive review meeting at the DC Office Complex today to evaluate the progress of Faecal Sludge Treatment Plants (FSTP), the digitization of revenue records, and the construction of government revenue buildings across the district.

During the session, which included key officials such as Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh and ACR Dr. Umesh Shan, the DC conducted a detailed tehsil-wise assessment of data entry for Jamabandies and the 7th Irrigation Census, emphasizing that accurate and timely digitization is critical for modern governance.

In addition to land record updates, the Deputy Commissioner issued strict directives for the immediate identification of land for FSTP projects in coordination with local Tehsildars and ordered the expedited construction of revenue assets to meet fixed deadlines.

To ensure the success of these administrative initiatives, Sub-Divisional Magistrates were tasked with holding regular jurisdictional reviews to maintain inter-departmental synergy and field-level efficiency.
