Udhampur, 21 August :- Police team of PP Tikri led by its ICPP during traffic checking at Naka Point Tikri stopped one motorcycle bearing registration number JK14C-7728 coming from Jammu towards Udhampur for checking.
On checking, two persons were found riding the motorcycle.The rider disclosed his identity as Sandeep Singh S/o Umesh Singh R/o Pangara, Krimchi, Udhampur while the pillion rider identified himself as Vikas Sharma @ Psycho S/o Ved Raj Sharma R/o Himbra, Udhampur.
During their personal search, 8.62 grams of heroin were recovered from their possession.In this regard, a case FIR No. 131/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Rehambal and further investigation is underway.
