Jammu, 22 August :- In a significant achievement for the Jammu & Kashmir Police, two absconders involved in serious criminal cases were apprehended and produced before their respective courts today. Warrants under Section 512 CrPC had earlier been issued against them by the Hon’ble Courts.*1.Jamal Din,* son of Fazal Din, resident of Gole Gujral, Jammu, was involved in FIR No. 68/2016 under Sections 188 RPC and 12 PC Act at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli. The accused had been evading arrest for the past 10 years.Roop Lal, son of Daya Ram, resident of Nadala Dera, District Samba, was wanted in FIR No. 113/2012 under Sections 188 IPC, 3/5 PCA Act, and 129/177 MV Act, registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli, Jammu. He had been absconding for the past 15 years.
Acting on credible input, the Jhajjar Kotli Police, led by the *SHO of Police Station Jhajjar Kotli, successfully executed both warrants today, and the absconders were produced before the respective courts of law.These arrests are part of the Jammu Police’s sustained efforts to bring long-time absconders to justice and maintain law and order in the region.
