Jammu : 24 September :- Tiger Division, in collaboration with NGO SayTrees, has taken yet another significant step in relief and rehabilitation efforts for flood-affected communities in Makwal, Jammu. After executing daring rescue operations, construction of 110 feet Bailey bridge for inter city transport, restoring surface connectivity, provisioning of drinking water, food and conducting medical & veterinary camps for people across Jammu, the ‘Tiger Division’ has now joined hands with SayTrees to provide livestock to families who lost their livelihood during the floods
This joint initiative focuses on long-term rehabilitation by reviving dairy and agrarian livelihoods disrupted by the floods. Provision of cattle would enable the devastated families immediate sustenance and also a source of income, enabling the families to regain self-reliance and stability.
The effort showcases the steadfast commitment of the Tiger Division in providing humanitarian assistance to the needy. Local communities have welcomed the initiative as a powerful example of compassion, cooperation, and commitment to rebuilding lives, nation building and humanitarian assistance to help the affected families overcome the devastating effects of floods.
