Three Drug Peddlers Arrested with Heroin in Two Separate Cases by Udhampur Police

Udhampur, 19 September:- Police Station Udhampur :- While performing patrolling and Naka duty at Jakhani, Police party of PS Udhampur intercepted one truck bearing registration No. JK13C-6805.

During checking, 3.92 gms of heroin like substance was recovered from the driver namely Maqbool Ahangar S/o Ali Mohd. Ahangar R/o Khonmoh, Tehsil Pantha Chowk, District Srinagar and 2.82 gms of heroin like substance was recovered from co-driver Hanan Mushtaq S/o Mushtaq Ahmed Ahangar R/o Khonmoh, Tehsil Pantha Chowk, District Srinagar.

In this regard, a Case FIR No. 337/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Udhampur and both accused have been arrested.

Police Station Chenani:- Police party of PS Chenani during patrolling near Domail Chowk apprehended one person who disclosed his identity as Mohd Sharif S/o Jamal Din R/o Incha, Tehsil Chenani, District Udhampur.

On his personal search, 3.39 gms of heroin like substance was recovered from his possession.In this connection, Case FIR No. 89/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Chenani and the accused has been arrested on the spot.Further investigation of the case is underway.
