Jammu 28 September :- Anand Jain, IPS, Additional Director General of Police, Armed J&K, visited the headquarters IRP-14th Battalion at Armed Police Complex (APC), Channi, Jammu.
On his arrival, Jain was accorded a ceremonial welcome by Abrar Ahmed Chowdhury, SSP Commandant IRP-14th Battalion, along with other senior officers. During his visit, the ADGP reviewed the ongoing developmental works at the complex.
The ADGP was accompanied by Dr. Vinod Kumar, IPS, DIG IRP Range Jammu; Sameer Sharma, IPS, DIG Armed Range Jammu; Ramesh Kotwal, SSP, CO 1st Women Battalion; Sanjay Rana, CO JKAP 7th Battalion; and other officers. As part of the programme, Jain participated in a large-scale Swachhta/Sharamdaan Abhiyan organized by the IRP-14th Battalion in collaboration with other Armed Police Complex Channi based units and the Jammu Municipal Corporation.
More than 280 officers, jawans, and JMC officials joined the cleanliness drive. The APC complex was divided into wards, each supervised by a senior officer.
Addressing the participants, the ADGP underlined the importance of hygiene and discipline, remarking that a clean environment reflects the true spirit of the Police force in fulfilling both professional and social responsibilities.
