Udhampur 02 October :- STC BSF Udhampur on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti organized a special cleanliness drives under the “Swachhata Hi Seva-2025′ campaign at Government High School Ritti and Government High School Rown.
The objective of this initiative was to clean and secure the school premises, raise awareness about cleanliness among students, and involve the local community in the Swachh Bharat Mission.These events witnessed enthusiastic participation from BSF Officers and personnel, students and staff of the schools, as well as local residents. Under the theme “One Day, One Hour, Together”, everyone came together to actively participate in the cleanliness drive and spread the message of hygiene and sanitation.
On this occasion, Officials from STC BSF stated “Cleanliness is not just the responsibility of the government, but a duty of every citizen. Just as we keep our homes clean, we must also treat public spaces as our own and keep them clean. Only then can we build a healthy and hygienic society.”
During the event, students were educated about cleanliness, health, and environmental conservation. Activities such as group cleaning, cleanliness pledges, and interactive sessions were conducted to emphasize the importance of hygiene and civic responsibility.
This cleanliness campaign stands as a testament to STC BSF Udhampur’s commitment to community welfare and its efforts toward the success of the Swachh Bharat Mission.
