Strategic Outreach in Kirni and Qasba: Police Senior officials Bridges the Gap with Frontline Communities
POONCH, DECEMBER 28: Redefining the scope of community-centric governance, DIG Rajouri–Poonch Range, Tejinder Singh, and SSP Poonch, Shafqat Hussain, journeyed to the sensitive settlements of Kirni and Qasba today to host a comprehensive Public Durbar.
Alongside DySP Headquarters Neeraj Sharma, the officers engaged in a direct dialogue with villagers residing in these high-priority zones. The mission was specifically designed to dismantle the barriers of distance and logistical difficulty, ensuring that the inhabitants of these remote areas have a direct channel to express their concerns to the highest tiers of regional leadership.
The session focused heavily on the unique environmental and administrative pressures faced by the local families. Residents detailed a spectrum of challenges, from the need for enhanced healthcare and water infrastructure to the daily logistical constraints inherent to their specific location.
DIG Tejinder Singh assured the gathering that the police administration is not just a protector of law, but a dedicated advocate for their civil rights and welfare. He committed to a rigorous follow-up process, promising that their socio-economic grievances would be presented to the concerned departmental heads for immediate action.
SSP Shafqat Hussain underscored the department’s role as a primary responder, emphasizing that the District Police is committed to being both visible and accessible in these far-flung sectors. He encouraged a spirit of shared responsibility, noting that the peaceful atmosphere of the region relies on the continued transparency and cooperation between the public and law enforcement.
The residents welcomed the initiative, viewing the presence of the district’s top security officials as a tangible sign of the administration’s resolve to prioritize the needs of frontline communities.
