SSP Udhampur Announces Major Police Reshuffle: Abhijeet Sarohi, Manveer Singh, and Rhythm Sharma Among 12 Officers Reassigned

UDHAMPUR, March 9, 2026 — In a significant administrative move to enhance district-wide law enforcement, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Udhampur Amod Ashok Nagpure has ordered the immediate transfer and posting of 12 police officers, including several high-profile reassignments.

Under the new directive, Abhijeet Sarohi-IPS has been posted as SHO Police Station Udhampur, while PSI Manveer Singh takes over as SHO Police Station Ramnagar, and PSI Rhythm Sharma has been appointed as IC PP Tikri.

The comprehensive reshuffle also includes Inspr. Purab Singh as IC ESU Lab Udhampur, Inspr. Anil Kumar Sharma as RI DPL Udhampur, Inspr. Padam Dev Singh as PA to DySP DAR at DPL Udhampur, and PSI Yogeshwar Manhotra as SHO P/S Kud.

Furthermore, PSI Abhinav Bhatti becomes IC PP Roun Domail, PSI Varun Sharma joins P/S Udhampur as IO, PSI Satnam Singh takes charge as IC PP Dudu, and both PSI Gurvinder Singh and PSI Shakti Singh have been reassigned as Investigating Officers (IO) at P/S Rehambal and P/S Udhampur, respectively.

All officers have been instructed to report to their new stations immediately to ensure a seamless transition in the interest of public administration and regional security.
