JAMMU, January 20, 2026 — In preparation for the upcoming Basant Panchami festival, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu, Joginder Singh, conducted a comprehensive security and traffic assessment at the Baba Ballo Ji Temple in Mathwar today.
Accompanied by a high-level team including SP Rural Jammu Brijesh Sharma, the SDPO Akhnoor, DySP Traffic Rural, and the SHO Gharota, Singh inspected the premises to ensure all necessary safety measures are in place.
During the visit, the SSP issued specific directives to the concerned officers to prioritize robust security deployment and effective traffic management. He emphasized the importance of seamless coordination between various agencies to guarantee the safety and convenience of the thousands of devotees expected to participate in the celebrations.
