SSP Doda Chairs Comprehensive Crime Review Meeting to Enhance Public Grievance Redressal
DODA, Feb 14, 2026 — Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Doda, Sandeep Mehta, chaired a high-level crime review meeting at the District Police Office to evaluate the operational goals and disposal targets for the 2025–26 period.
Addressing Gazetted Officers, SHOs, and In-Charge Police Posts—some of whom joined virtually from remote sub-divisions like Gandoh and Bhaderwah—the SSP expressed dissatisfaction with the current disposal rates and issued a stern directive for immediate performance improvements.
The session focused heavily on professional accountability and result-oriented policing, with a specific emphasis on the prompt redressal of public grievances and adherence to the statutory 60- and 90-day investigation timelines mandated under new criminal laws.
In addition to reviewing progress on digital platforms like CCTNS and e-Sakshya, the SSP reiterated a zero-tolerance policy toward drug trafficking and social crimes, ordering field officers to utilize FSL services and advanced technology to ensure high-quality investigations and speedy justice for victims.
