Srinagar Youth Surge: Prominent Professionals Join J&K PDP in Major Membership Drive
SRINAGAR, March 18, 2026 — In a move that signals a significant shift in the regional political landscape, a large group of motivated youth and professionals formally joined the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (JKPDP) today.
The joining ceremony, held in Srinagar, saw high-profile entrants including Dr. Umer Gul, Dr. Gazal Anwar, and Javed Margry, alongside dozens of other young supporters.
The influx of new members is seen as a major boost for the party, reaffirming public faith in its vision for the Union Territory.The induction was presided over by Party President Mehbooba Mufti, who was accompanied by Women’s Wing President Anjum Fazili and Party Spokesperson Zuhaib Yousuf Mir.
