Srinagar Airport Celebrates 77th Republic Day with Grand Flag Unfurling Ceremony
SRINAGAR, January 26, 2026 – The Srinagar Airport Authority marked India’s 77th Republic Day with a vibrant display of patriotism and national pride during a formal ceremony held at the airport premises.
The National Tricolour was unfurled by the Airport Director, signaling the start of a day dedicated to honoring the spirit of the Indian Constitution.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the authority shared that the event served as a powerful tribute to the unity and collective service that defines the nation’s aviation and security sectors.The ceremony was attended by a distinguished gathering of high-ranking officials and stakeholders, including the Chief Airport Security Officer (CASO) of the CISF, the Commandant of the CRPF, and Airport Managers (APMs) from various airlines.
Personnel from the Airports Authority of India (AAI), alongside dedicated teams from the CISF, CRPF, and various airline partners, stood in solidarity to celebrate the occasion. The event highlighted the seamless coordination and commitment of the men and women who ensure the safety and efficiency of one of the country’s most strategic transit hubs.
