Spreading Cheer and Joy : 150 Year of Vande Mataram

Jammu 10 November :- As part of the ongoing celebrations for the commemoration of 150 years of Vande Mataram, the NCC cadets of 8 J&K Girls Battalion NCC affiliated to PSPS GCW Gandhi Nagar alongwith their company commander Lt Rukhsana Kousar visited Balgran Charitable Trust, Channi Rama, Jammu.

The objective of the visit was to promote the values of patriotism, compassion, and social responsibility among cadets while extending support to the children residing in the trust. During the visit, the cadets interacted warmly with the children, sharing inspiring thoughts and engaging them in singing patriotic songs and various cultural activities that reflected the spirit of Vande Mataram.

As a gesture of care and encouragement, the cadets also distributed stationery items and sweets among the children, bringing smiles and joy to their faces. The interaction created a bond of affection and conveyed the importance of empathy and community service.

The visit proved to be a heartwarming and enriching experience, instilling in cadets the true essence of humanity and service an also highlighted the importance of investing time and energy into children who are the future of our nation.
