Spearhead Gunners and ITBP Conduct Exercise Vijay Prahar to Bolster Defense in Arunachal Pradesh
ITANAGAR, Mar 26: In a significant display of joint combat prowess, the “Spearhead Gunners” under the Indian Army’s Spear Corps, in collaboration with the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), successfully conducted Exercise Vijay Prahar in the rugged high-altitude terrain of Arunachal Pradesh.
The exercise focused on the deployment of heavy-caliber firepower and the seamless integration of artillery assets with border-guarding forces to ensure a unified defensive front.
By simulating high-intensity engagement scenarios, the participating units showcased exceptional synergy and operational readiness, proving their ability to deliver precise and overwhelming fire support despite the logistical and environmental challenges of the Eastern Sector.
The successful execution of Exercise Vijay Prahar underscores the strategic importance of inter-agency coordination between the Indian Army and CAPFs (Central Armed Police Forces) in maintaining territorial integrity.
Throughout the maneuvers, the Spearhead Gunners demonstrated advanced tactical maneuvers and real-time data sharing with ITBP counterparts, reinforcing a “One Border, One Force” mentality.
This exercise serves as a powerful deterrent and a testament to the military’s ongoing efforts to modernize its combat capabilities and maintain a high state of vigilance along India’s mountainous frontiers.
