DIMAPUR, Feb 4, 2026 — The Spear Corps of the Indian Army celebrated its 41st Raising Day at Rangapahar Military Station, Nagaland, marking over four decades of dedicated service to the nation and the Northeast region.
The commemorative events began with a solemn wreath-laying ceremony to honor the fallen heroes, followed by a series of high-impact community-focused initiatives. These programs included a comprehensive medical camp for families, specialized child development counseling, and an organ donation pledge drive.
Additionally, a voluntary blood donation camp was organized at the Military Hospital in Dimapur, highlighting the Corps’ commitment to humanitarian service alongside its military duties.
Addressing the gathered troops, Lt Gen Abhijit S Pendharkar, GOC Spear Corps, praised the unit’s exceptional professionalism and operational excellence, calling upon all ranks to continue upholding the rich traditions and valor of the Indian Army as they move forward.
