Jammu, 10 October :- The Jammu Amateur Kurash District Championship (for Boys and Girls)2025 was inaugurated today by SP Rural Jammu at the Indoor Stadium Complex, Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu.
The event was organized under the banner of the Amateur Kurash Association of Jammu and Kashmir to promote the traditional sport and encourage youth participation.Speaking on the occasion, SP Rural Jammu emphasized the importance of sports in shaping disciplined and focused youth. He advised players to stay committed to their game, maintain a healthy diet, and remember that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body.
He also highlighted the need to channel the energy of youth in the right direction and nurture local talent for higher-level competitions. Best wishes were extended to all participants to excel and bring laurels to the Union Territory and the nation.
