SP Headquarters Jammu Launches T-10 Cosco Ball Cricket Tournament in RS Pura

Jammu February 03,2026 :- SP Headquarters Jammu Irshad Hussain Rather officially inaugurated the T-10 Cosco Ball Cricket Tournament at Satowali Ground in RS Pura under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) to promote youth engagement and sportsmanship.

Attended by SDPO RS Pura Gurmeet Singh, SHO RS Pura Ravi Singh Parihar, and various police officials, the event aims to provide a constructive platform for local talent while steering young individuals away from drug abuse and social evils.

A total of eight teams are set to compete in the tournament, which follows a league-cum-knockout format to showcase the athletic potential of the region.

During the opening ceremony, Irshad Hussain Rather interacted with the players and emphasized the importance of physical fitness and community spirit, highlighting that such initiatives by the Jammu and Kashmir Police are essential for tapping into the hidden skills of budding athletes.

The presence of a large crowd, including prominent civil society members and media representatives, underscored the community’s support for using sports as a tool for positive social transformation and youth development in Jammu.
