Chaired by Chief Executive Officer Sachin Kumar Vaishya, the meeting follows directives from the 76th Board Meeting led by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. The primary objective of this outreach is to develop an inclusive roadmap for increasing pilgrim footfall while preserving the spiritual and heritage essence of the Banganga–Charanpaduka stretch. Stakeholders proposed several key enhancements, including the rejuvenation of the Holy Banganga river, upgrading bathing ghats, and improving essential utilities such as lighting, sanitation, and drinking water facilities to ensure a seamless journey for devotees.

During the interaction, senior community members emphasized the importance of maintaining the traditional character of the track while introducing modern, barrier-free access and sustainable development practices.

The Shrine Board assured stakeholders that all infrastructure improvements would be implemented in a phased manner, strictly adhering to environmental norms and regulatory requirements.

By integrating community feedback with professional planning, the Board aims to create a more attractive and pilgrim-friendly environment that honors the heritage of the ancient yatra route. This consultation marks a continued commitment by the SMVDSB to foster collaborative growth and enhance the overall pilgrimage experience for the millions who visit the Holy Shrine annually.
