SKPA Udhampur organises grand pledge-taking ceremony as part of vigilance awareness week;

SSP Benam Tosh administered pledge of honesty and integrity

Udhampur, 27 October :-  As part of vigilance awareness week , a grand pledge-taking

ceremony was organized at Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur where Deputy

Director SSP Benam Tosh administered the integrity pledge to the hundreds of police

officers and officials assembled on the occasion.

With a view to promote integrity, transparency and accountability in public life , the

Vigilance Awareness Week is observed every year in the week in which the birthday of

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel falls. The Vigilance Awareness Week-2025 is being organized from

27th Oct to 2nd Nov on the theme & quot; Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility & quot;.

In his address , SSP Benam Tosh said that the objective of administering integrity

pledge is to foster a culture of honesty ,integrity, transparency & credibility based on ethics

and to sensitize the employees about the laws , rules & regulations relevant to their work

for honest discharge of their duties ensuring fairness.
