Senior IAS officer Dr. Piyush Singla given additional charge of Information Department in J&K

Srinagar 01 September:- In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Jammu and Kashmir government has assigned the additional charge of the Administrative Secretary for the Information Department to Dr. Piyush Singla, IAS.

According to Government Order No. 1165, issued by the General Administration Department on September 1, 2025, Dr. Singla, who currently serves as the Secretary of the Information Technology Department and holds the additional charge of the General Administration Department, will take on this new role while the incumbent officer, M. Raju, remains on leave. This move consolidates key responsibilities under a single senior bureaucrat to ensure seamless governance during the period of the incumbent’s absence.
