QAZIGUND, January 19, 2026: In a significant move to bolster regional security and disaster preparedness, and Ahead of Republic day Celebration the Kulgam Police, in collaboration with multiple security and emergency departments, successfully conducted a comprehensive mock drill exercise at the Qazigund Railway Station today.
The high-stakes simulation was designed to rigorously assess emergency response mechanisms and evaluate the collective readiness of various departments in handling critical, real-world security threats.The joint operation saw active participation from a diverse range of agencies, including the Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), Fire & Emergency Services (F&ES), Indian Reserve Police (IRP), and specialized Health Teams.
