Security Forces busted an hideout in Kupwara Forest

Kupwara 09 October :- In a major counter-insurgency action on the basis of specific intelligence, joint forces of the Indian Army and Jammu & Kashmir Police effectively exposed and busted an insurgent hideout in the heavily wooded Brijthor Forest region of Warsun, Kupwara, on October 8.

During the hectic search operation, the security forces seized a large cache of arms and ammunition, thereby deflecting possible threats to the security of the area.

As per a statement issued by the Chinar Corps of the Indian Army, war-like stores recovered by the army include two AK Series Rifles, four Rocket Launchers, and a huge quantity of assorted ammunition. The operation is a significant setback to militant logistics and highlights the ongoing efforts of security forces to disrupt terror infrastructure in the Kashmir Valley.
