New Delhi, January 8, 2026 : South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), a leading coal PSU, has announced a significant partnership with the Sri Sathya Sai Health & Education Trust to establish a state-of-the-art Healthcare Skill Development Centre in Nava Raipur.
Formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a financial commitment of ₹35.04 crore under SECL’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, the institute aims to provide free, job-oriented training to socio-economically disadvantaged youth from the coal belt regions of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.
The center will offer specialized courses for nursing assistants, technicians, and other allied healthcare roles, with 20% of annual admissions reserved for candidates from SECL’s operational districts for at least 25 years.
This initiative builds upon the existing “SECL Ki Dhadkan” partnership, which has already facilitated over 180 life-saving heart surgeries for children, further solidifying SECL’s role as a major catalyst for social development and sustainable healthcare infrastructure in the region.
