Samba 06 September :- Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir have initiated a comprehensive search operation in the Samba district after a suspected Pakistani drone was observed hovering over vital installations late Friday evening.
Officials reported that the unmanned aerial vehicle was spotted at an altitude exceeding 700 metres, moving from west to east over a military garrison in the Bari Brahmana area at approximately 9:35 pm.
An immediate alert was issued, activating quick reaction teams from the Army, who were then joined by J&K police in a coordinated effort to sweep the area and ensure no weapons or narcotics were airdropped by the drone.
