Scheduled Power Shutdown in Udhampur and Batote: Essential Maintenance to Affect Multiple Areas
JAMMU, MARCH 10, 2026 — The Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) has announced a series of scheduled power outages across various divisions to facilitate essential maintenance and infrastructure upgrades.
According to the Executive Engineer, Electric Division JPDCL Udhampur, the Gole Market area will experience a power cut on March 12 from 10 am to 2 pm. Additionally, the Superintending Engineer, O&M Circle-III JPDCL Batote, has notified residents of Subash Nagar, Domail, and adjoining areas that electricity will be suspended on March 11 from 7 am to 1 pm.
Further outages are planned for March 13 from 8 am to 11 am, affecting the Housing Colony, Sui Sambal, Generation Colony, and Subash Nagar.Extended Outages Across Multiple DistrictsResidents in the Batote and Ramban sectors should also prepare for intermittent shutdowns scheduled for March 12, 14, and 16.
During these three days, power supply will be restricted from 11 am to 4 pm in several key clusters, including Keli, Hala, and Rajgarh, as well as Karo, Pernote, Sheri, and Maitra.
Similar maintenance-related outages will occur during the same timeframe in Ramsoo, Chanjloo, Neel, and their neighboring localities. JPDCL officials have urged consumers to plan their daily activities accordingly and expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by these necessary technical improvements.
