PANGSAU PASS, Feb 10, 2026 — Marking a historic milestone in inter-service coordination, the second phase of the “Samudra se Parvat Tak” (From Sea to Mountains) joint bike rally culminated at the iconic Pangsau Pass on the Indo-Myanmar border.
Organised by the Indian Coast Guard and Assam Rifles, the expedition successfully bridged the geographical gap between India’s vast coastline and its rugged northeastern frontiers, symbolizing a unified national resolve and the seamless integration of the country’s maritime and land-based security forces.
On the final leg of the journey, the rally proceeded from Jairampur to the Higher Secondary School in Nampong on February 9. During this stop, the participants engaged in extensive community outreach, conducting motivational sessions for local students and villagers.
Through the screening of inspirational films and interactive talks, the joint team highlighted the values of service, discipline, and national commitment, encouraging the youth of Arunachal Pradesh to consider careers in the uniformed services.The expedition reached its grand finale at Pangsau Pass, where it was officially flagged in by the DIG of Assam Rifles.
This unique initiative has not only strengthened the bonds between the two elite forces but has also served as a powerful testament to India’s territorial integrity.
By traversing the diverse landscape from the “seas to the mountains,” the rally underscored the message of National Integration and the collective readiness of India’s guardians to protect the nation across all domains.
