Samba Police Boost Youth Engagement with Volleyball Tournament at GHSS Kharra Madana

SAMBA, MARCH 28, 2026: As part of its ongoing commitment to community policing and youth empowerment, the Samba Police successfully organized a competitive volleyball tournament under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2025-2026.

The event, held at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Kharra Madana within the jurisdiction of Police Station Purmandal, drew enthusiastic participation from five district teams and a large gathering of local sports fans.

This initiative by the Samba Police aims to foster a spirit of sportsmanship and strengthen the bond between the law enforcement agency and the local community through constructive athletic engagement.

The tournament culminated in a thrilling final match between the village teams of Kharra and Madana, with Team Madana ultimately emerging as the champions after a hard-fought contest.

Following the high-energy finale, the SHO of Police Station Purmandal and other senior police officials presented trophies to both the winning and runner-up teams, celebrating their dedication and skill.
